Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes at JCT600
On Friday, 6th March, colleagues from across JCT600 gathered at the Queens Hotel in Leeds for our second-ever JCT600 Heroes Awards. The event brought together teams from across the business to celebrate the incredible colleagues who go above and beyond every day.
Following the success of last year's first-ever Heroes event, the awards returned for a second year to once again shine the spotlight on the people who make a real difference across JCT600. From teamwork and innovation to outstanding customer service, the nominations prove that our business is packed with everyday superheroes.
Throughout the day, we revealed our 2026 Heroes across a range of award categories, with colleagues cheering on their teammates and celebrating the amazing achievements taking place across the business. It quickly became clear that while capes were optional, here-level support was not.

With awards covering every area of the business, the 11 categories recognised a wide range of achievements:

🏅 Special Mention: Recognising individuals who have made a unique or exceptional contribution.
🏅 Inspirational Leader: Celebrating leaders who support, motivate and inspire their teams to succeed.
A super-powered celebration
The day was packed with great moments and plenty of laughs as colleagues came together to celebrate.
Each winner received a nomination card filled with kind words from their peers and managers because, when you're making an impact, people notice.
For the second year running, the event featured a special appearance from our very own Batman and Robin, who once again helped bring some superhero magic to the day and were on hand for plenty of photos.
Colleagues were also treated to a surprise performance from the incredible Bantam of the Opera. Their high-energy performance had the room clapping and singing along. Safe to say they brought the house down and may have even rivalled our caped crusaders for star of the show.
A massive congratulations to all of our JCT600 Heroes, your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. We can't wait to celebrate more of our everyday heroes in the future!
