How JCT600 is Celebrating 80 Years
Since 1946, the business has grown and evolved into one of the UK's leading automotive retailers, with colleagues continuing to play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to customers every day.
Throughout June, every JCT600 dealership has been hosting its own birthday celebrations, with each team given the freedom to mark the occasion.
From cakes and sweet treats to BBQ's and food vans, our teams certainly know how to celebrate. These moments are a chance to come together, recognise the contribution of colleagues, and celebrate the people who continue to make JCT600 what it is today, 80 years on. Alongside the celebrations, we're also running a JCT600-wide step challenge designed to support wellbeing and mark JCT600's 80th year, while raising funds for automotive charity BEN.
From 22nd June to 31st August, teams across the business will be taking part in 80 miles for 80 years, working together to complete 80 miles.
It's a simple idea, but it's really about more than that. It's about making time to get out, be active, take a break from the working day, and connect with the people around you. Those small moments can make a big difference to how you feel at work.
At the same time, we'll be raising money for BEN, the automotive charity that supports people across the industry when they need it most. It's a great example of how we do things at JCT600, looking after our people, supporting each other, and giving something back while we celebrate 80 years together.
80 miles for BEN is about more than just steps. It's about the importance of taking care of personal wellbeing, finding the time to be more active, taking a moment away from daily pressures and strengthening friendships at JCT600; it all makes a huge difference to wellbeing.
